Advance Replacement & Exchange Service Requirements

Any rebuilt items on your order (signified by a part number ending with -REB) are repair service items. If we have available stock, this item may qualify for our Advance Replacement & Exchange service. Under the terms of service, we will ship to you one of our previously repaired controls, and upon receipt you will ship to us your non-functioning but otherwise repairable control. Repairable means the control is not burned or moisture exposed, and it does not have any physical damage such as cracked or broken housings, bad tubes, missing components, etc.

To simplify the return shipping process, a UPS® Ground Return Service (RS) Label item will be added to your order, and the cost of that Return Service shipping will be included in your order total. This Return Service label will be attached to a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form which you will find in the carton along with the item(s) you have purchased. Within 10 days of receiving your Advance Replacement & Exchange repair service part, you must send your repairable core and RMA form back to Acme Controls using the included UPS® Ground Return Service label. The Return Service label will allow us to track the package within the UPS® system.

NOTE: Failure to return a repairable core could result in additional charges of $200-$4000, depending on the type and model of the core control. For Acme Controls, our preference is to receive a repairable core in a timely fashion, and not to charge a punitive monetary fee.

Cores returned after more than 20 days could result in late return fees of $20-$200, depending on the scarcity of the control. Again, our preference is to simply receive a repairable core in a timely fashion.

Upon placing your first order for Acme Controls rebuilt items, the following steps must be completed before your order can ship:

• You will receive an email message with a subject line beginning Response Required ACME Terms & Conditions Order#. We suggest you check your junk email folders because sometimes this message gets incorrectly flagged as spam.
• You must open this email message, carefully read the Advance Replacement Program Terms & Conditions, and click on the ACCEPT button.
• You will then be redirected automatically to our home page.

NOTE: You must complete this process before any of your orders can be shipped. Once you have completed this acceptance process, any future orders for Acme Controls rebuilt items will no longer require this additional step.
